Ett besök på Vesbar i München

Post by madoc »

Eftersom min tyska ligger på samma nivå som mina färdigheter i balett, väljer jag att skriva detta på engelska så att även grabbarna på Vesbar har en chans att läsa:

Before the one week congress i München I was attending, I googled "classic vespa munich" to see if there was anything to have o look at. As it turned out, only a 20 min walk from my hotel there was this place called Vesbar (vesbar.de). This is a place for service of classic scooters (including PX) but not plastic. It was fantastic to meet the guys working there, led by Jörg who I understood was the owner. Some scooters were bought from Italy, restored and resold. A lot of ustomers also turned their scooters in for a full restoration. I did not take ant photos in the adjacent workshop, but you can see right in to the mechanical workshop were magic to old Vespas occur.

There was a top of the line classic espressomachine, and when I tried to pay it turned out that coffe was included and as free as the entrance. On the floor was a couple scooters to lay eyes on (phone-photos):

How much tape was used to paint this?

So - the guys were great, the espresso perfect, and the atmosphere very generous. If you are in Münich - go there!!

Finally - thansk guys for your hospitality!
