Det definitiva Vespa-verket?

Post by trenoll »

Hej!

Jag är en wannabe som håller på att ta ett litet steg in i Vespa världen. Finns det någon riktigt bra bok att köpa i ämnet Vespans historia fram till idag? Detta så jag senare kan låtsas som att jag alltid varit Vespa freak!

Mvh

VESPA Italian Street Style
VESPA Italian Street Style. NEW UPDATED VERSION The name Vespa is recognised the world over as an icon of Italian design. To celebrate the launch of the new Vespa model, Scriptum Editions presents Vespa, a unique history of the world's most famous two-wheeler. A sleek coffee-table book, Vespa is the perfect gift for enthusiasts, collectors and designers alike. The Vespa's history is a fascinating and varied one. The scooter has stamped its mark on an entire epoch. For over 50 years, the Vespa has fascinated millions, giving the world a unique image of Italian design and remaining the means of transport most synonymous with freedom. Produced in 1946, the first Vespa offered mobility to everyone. Italy was getting over its war wounds and getting about on the scooter. During the 'Dolce Vita' years, 'Vespa' meant 'scooter'; foreign newspaper correspondents described Italy as 'Vespa country', and the rolls Vespa played in Italian society is shown by its appearance in dozens of films. Then, it became the two-wheeler for the time of economic boom. And during the 1960s and 1970s, it was the vehicle for the propagation of the revolution of ideas that the kids of those years were established. Now the Vespa provides the perfect solution to today's congested cities. Beautifully designed, spanning over 300 pages and featuring over 300 original photographs, many rare and unseen, Vespa, delves into the facets of the famous brand from its innovative technical and stylistic design to its freedom inspired customers. The book is packed with unusual photographs from the Vespa archives, featuring all the models, famous faces, races and much much more. The retail price is £19.95 plus P&P UK Price £23.95 - Europe £27.50 -
