Hi there guys,
I have a high revving situation, basically when i rev it and then return the throttle to normal, it takes quite a while for the engine to die down and back to a normal idle.
Here is my set up...
Vespa 50N
DR 75cc kit
Polini exhaust
Polini manifold
Dell Orto 16.16 carb with 42 idle jet and 74 main jet.
I have been advised to try a larger main jet, start at an 82 and work down. Also that it could be an air leak somewhere. Does anyone have any experience of this high rev situation and how to check for an air leak.
Thanks
High revving

Hi there
I have fixed the problem, it was simply where the throttle cable was connected to the throttle arm on the carb, it was too tight. Couldnt see it at first but on closer inspection thats what the prob was.
