Dear fellow scooterists!
The Lambretta Club of the Netherlands and Amsterdam Vespa Club are together organising a big weekend full of scootering fun & mayhem on the 10 & 11th of November.
What started off small scale one day show just outside of Amersfoort 3 years ago has now grown into a full action packaged weekend in Amsterdam with the aim of attracting more scooterists from Belgium, Germany, France & the UK – should be a lot more interesting than a small rural Dutch town. You can expect the usual Vespa’s and Lambrettas but a this year also a big showing of Heinkels.
The Friday night will have a piss up in the middle of the infamous red-light district.
For those able to get up on Saturday early afternoon we’ve organized a big ride out through Amsterdam and surrounding countryside. That evening there will also be a big party with all the scooterist sounds.
The custom show will be on the Sunday starting from 9am till 5pm. There is loads more space that previous years so enough space for lots more scooters & trade stalls.
Entry costs are only 3 euros and free if you show one or more scooters – scooters can be placed till 11am so you don't have to get up too early the Sunday morning. Kids till 12 years old are also free. You don't have to pre register but this would be appreciated. Dealer stands are available from only 10 euros and club stands are free.
Also if you are struggling to get the misses and/or kids to come along (to Amsterdam??) then they may be interested in the genuine vintage clothing stall and for the kids – the world’s first Chicco championships! Bring a Chicco if you have one although we will have a few to lend out (not if you’re a big 120 kgs!)
